GDPR support

If GDPR handling is implemented on the website in accordance with the European data protection policy, the player can pass user consent information to advertising services. To enable this, turn on GDPR support in the ad module settings: Advertising / Add-ons and settings / GDPR Support

To pass GDPR parameters, the website must use a properly configured consent management platform (CMP) that supports the IAB TCF standard.

• The CMP must load before the player
• Consent must be available on the page via window.__tcfapi
• The advertising system must support the gdpr and gdpr_consent parameters

The player will attempt to obtain the required consent data within the allotted time (the wait timeout is set to 1 second by default) and will modify the ad request URL to pass this information to the advertising side. You can see plugin operation reports in the player logs.
