You can provide users with the ability to open local video/audio files that are compatible with browser playback (.mp4, .m4v, .mov, .mp3, .webm, .flac).

Just specify the value in one of the settings menu items as Open file

The menu will display an option to open a file from the user's device.

You can also create your own element with the openfile command.
