Rotating content via JavaScript

Second stream

The screen with an additional stream now can be scaled and dragged across the entire page. You can also switch sources with your own button.

You can also move scaled video

Zoomed video via hotkeys or buttons also can be dragged. For example to better see objects on webcams video.

Copyright

You can now completely remove copyright in the context menu (previously, you could only replace it with your own) in the extended PRO version of the builder.

iFrame API

A new way to integrate with video hosting services that use PlayerJS (the service can distribute content along with ads to other PlayerJS players).

Restyling VAST UI

We have slightly updated the default VAST advertising interface.

News in the VAST / VPAID

• The ad plugin now takes into account the quality options of the ad video.
• With active Airplay the ad is displayed on the distributing device (previously it was on the receiver).
  
• The new option "Hide / until starting on iOS" has been added to the element settings. It allows ads not to be skipped when switching to native full-screen mode.
• There is now a way to renew the ad link if your ad is blocked.
• New option "Timeouts / Timeout for start VPAID / Consider to start an ad video" (relevant for videos waiting to launch, such as YouTube).
• Removed the extra tap to launch YouTube content after ads on iPhones. The pre-roll now starts immediately after clicking on the red YouTube button (previously, the player was waiting for the video to start).
• The [remove] marker has been added to the manual ad management. The marked ad will be delete from the waterfall after the first request.
  
• New option "Count skip timers during buffering" (while buffering an ad video, skip timers will continue to count down).
• In the midroll settings you can enable display mode with an impression event (midroll verification will occur in transparent mode and ads will only be displayed with the Impression event).

What else

• New option to hide the poster on pause.
• Updated the plugin for Wordpress for supporting midrolls in shortcodes.
• Hotkey icons can now be displayed when buttons are clicked.
• The thumbnail plugin now shows the buffering icon when loading images.
  
• The HLS plugin (hls.js) has been updated to version 14.
  
• You can enable the display of the volume control on Android in the mobile options.
  
• Added the "Native controls in fullscreen mode on Android" (disabled by default).
  
• You can disable seeking forward in the timeline settings.
  
• Added the "Hide / when specifying a variable" option to the element settings (the element will be hidden if a special variable with any value is specified in the code).
  
• You can now restrict the set of commands to manage the player inside an iframe via postMessage.
  
• New options for subtitles: memorization of design and individual sizes for small screens.
  
• Viewers can now adjust the time shift in the subtitle settings that are available in the player.
  
• The player has learned to distinguish between TVs that disguise themselves as iPads.
  
• Added Turkish and Azerbaijani languages for localization of the interface.
  
• Improved interaction with the popular Fancybox library.
  
• New commands (speed, fix, unfix, thumbnails) and the "loaderror" event have been added to the JS API.
  
• To rewind by double-clicking on the edge (enabled in the hotkey settings), you can now specify the number of seconds and enable it only for mobile platforms.
  
• Looping has improved for YouTube content.
• The quizzes and polls plugin has learned to send an event when buttons are clicked.
  
• The new delete parameter allows you to cut off a part at the beginning of playback.
