Advanced tooltips
You can enable advanced tips that appear when you hover over the player elements.
There is also an option to enable the display of tips on mobile platforms when you tap on the button.
Age test and markings
We have expanded the functionality of custom elements for customizing labels and age tests. Now the elements are able to hide after a given time, block and unlock the player control.
The new version also makes it easier to manage your labels in the player and display your messages.
Reading ID3 tags
The player has learned to read the MP3 ID3 tags to update the title and upload the built-in poster.
Upload subtitles
You can enable the upload option in the subtitle plugin. The user can upload a local file directly to the player.
There are now more slots in the social plugin. Additionally you can add WebShare (for iOS), Tumblr, Pinterest, and Reddit.
Reloading
The Playback / Reloading plugin has become smarter. Now you can configure the number of attempts that the player will make in case of problems to load content (10 attempts by default).
Timeout for backup sources
In the update you can specify the Playback / Timeout for the backup sources if you use the spare links. The player will not wait for the server response in case of a long download and will switch to the backup source.
Playlist generator
We made a simple php script to generate playlists from the contents of file folders.
Custom quality labels
Instead of the HD icon for the settings button, you can use your own label (in the options of the settings element, you need to enable the Badge HD / Custom option).
What else
New option for background check of pauserolls, ads will be displayed only in the case of impression.
New loading timeouts for HLS manifests and fragments.
You can disable the tap on the screen in the native fullscreen mode on mobile devices, only the buttons will work.
A new option to reduce the size of thumbnails on mobile.
You can allow elements to go outside the player borders (Settings / Screen), for example, for the context menu.
Single subtitles are not displayed in the user interface until they are loaded.
The normal speed in the settings is now designated as "Normal" (previously it was 1).
The second stream can now be played with the sound (previously it was muted).
Polls and quizzes now exit from the native fullscreen mode on mobile devices (you can disable it in the settings and the quiz will be skipped).
Added Slovak language.
You can enable the hotkeys mode without focus, when the player is not waiting for the user's cursor to act.
Icons of custom elements can load SVG dynamically from JS, if you specify the name of the variable var:xxx
The countdown to the start of the broadcast has become smarter. You can specify a label after the end of the countdown and before the start of the broadcast.
The HLS broadcast standby mode has started working on iPhones.
Double-click / tap rewind on the edge of screen (enabled in the hotkey settings) now understands more clicks and increases the rewind interval.
Updated the DASH module - the speed of switching sources has become much faster.
The JS API now has a push command for adding files to a playlist. The toolbar command shows a hidden control panel.
Audio tracks for HLS and DASH can be renamed with the rename_audio parameter.
The new option In the Google Analytics plugin (Universal Analytics type) to take interactivity. Automatic events prior to user actions will be sent as non-interactive.
